Welcome to the ReSound free online hearing test
The ReSound Online Hearing Test is a quick 3-minute test that checks how well you hear words and numbers in noisy environments. For best results, take it in a quiet place using speakers or headphones.
How the free online hearing test works
Before starting the online hearing test, provide your age and gender, check your sound settings, and read and accept the privacy consent (GDPR).
Find a quiet place and choose to use your device speakers or preferably headphones for more accurate, ear-specific results. Set the volume to a comfortable level and remove hearing aids if you use them.
During the test, you will hear groups of three words or numbers with background noise. Select what you hear, and use the replay option if needed. If using headphones, both ears will be tested separately.
The ReSound online hearing test is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace a visit to a hearing care professional. If you suspect hearing loss, you should consult a qualified hearing care specialist for a comprehensive evaluation.
