Audiologist Waseem AlKayyali
He is considered one of the pioneers in the field of audiology in the State of Kuwait and the Middle East.
He began his professional journey more than 28 years ago. In 1998, he obtained advanced specialization in audiology, then earned a master’s degree from the European University in Greek Cyprus. His research distinguished itself and later became reliable scientific references at a global level.
He worked at Kuwait Oil Company Hospital and was also seconded to work with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education in the field of hearing, in addition to serving as a lecturer in development and professional training programs.
He left a clear mark in the State of Kuwait by establishing speech and language clinics for prestigious British educational institutions, which were among the first early intervention clinics in Kuwait.
He trained in several European countries, including France, Switzerland, Denmark, and Germany, then returned with extensive expertise, which he dedicated with great commitment to serving his patients.
In 2007, he founded Al Muttahida Hearing Center, making its name a benchmark of quality—not only in Kuwait, but across the Middle East.
In 2017, Al Muttahida Hearing Center won the Hear More Award as an Outstanding Center, and it was also nominated for international awards, including UNESCO awards.
